Owned by the original school that ordered two when new. "refreshed" for the headmaster upon his retirement then donated back to the school years later.  Has been sitting for a long time but runs well. doesn't smoke. clutch and brakes work.  Will need portions of the wood body repaired/replaced. front floors rusty but uncomplicated. old paint just ok but no noticeable rust in body.
Great project as these are very straight forward.  I restored the other one and an IH R-140 (google "4x4 woodie") and have all resources to get this done reasonably.  Took many coastal and freeway trips in the other one. The most exceptional feature of this woodie is its not another Ford. the cabin is modern without e brakes and shifers by your feet. its full sized but will fit in a normal garage. its gearing is fine for 60mph trips and if you are a camper/surfer. a full size mattress will fit perfectly in the back (I know this!).  Pics are from when purchased years ago but no condition changes except partial wood restoration.  I have started it every few months. idles like a clock.  Carb rebuilt.  The woodie is deep in a warehouse in Santa Ana but I can take specific pics and answer questions if you contact me thru ebay.  This is a 3/4 ton truck with syncro 3 sp on tree and great diff gearing. Milage stated obviously not accurate. Sold with bill of sale.
This woodie is original down to the correct front and rear seats. fire extinguisher. dash fan. visors. tailgate locks and latches. glass. all instruments and running gear.  It really is as original a base as you could hope for. just what to expect when it hasn't gone thru lots of owners over the years.  The slats in the roof are straight and strong.  Be prepared to take on some woodwork (inclu new tailgate) but the restorer of my other two Internationals is set up to replace specific parts or more via CNC which is very reasonable.  I also have the orig build sheet (copy) that was above the glove box on my other one (states two ordered. etc).  This will come with the iBook of the restoration of the R-140 as linked below which is essentially the same body.  Silver Diamond 220 engine is original as well as the rest of the running gear.
There is also a International enthusiasts website that is very helpful with info. parts. manuals. and resources. OldIHC. com .  You will never find another one so hopefully the right guy will recognize something special here as I have.  Good Luck!  No Reserve
