1950 Ford Other for sale
Current customer rating: (397 votes ) based onIt has rebuilt engine with new pistons. new rings. new head. new oil pump. new water pump. new starter etc. No compromises!
Doors open with PUSH BUTTON mechanism thus open by pushing the round button as shown in the picture. It has been driven near 11. 00 miles since rebuilding everything as stated above. Runs very strong with special mufflers and headers.
It's been sitting since last 2 years or so. I stared the car to take the pictures and pull it out of the garage where it was parked in front of 20 plus classic cars. It fired right up as it has a mechanical choke that makes this car starts right off. Have driven to Las Vegas little over 15 months ago for a car show and after bringing it back parked it in my garage with over 40 other cars.
Reason for selling: Downsizing home from 5 acres to 1/2 acre as the kid grown up and flew off and have no space to park my 48+ cars. Keeping a few more sentimental about. Will accept a sensible and realistic offer as the car is fully restored with not a spec of rust or any kind of cancer anywhere in the body or the chassis.
I welcome the inspection and to accommodate serous buyer I am willing to have the car taken by my live-in Gardner to your choice of mechanic/shop/dealer for a full inspection. Since car is totally restored. it would not take long for any experienced mechanic/shop to do the full evaluation/road test etc.
A deposit through PayPal of $1000 will be required at the end of the auction. Remaining can be paid via bank to bank transfer. certified/cashier's check. personal check upon clearing or???
Please don't hesitate to ask any question. I am a serious collector of cars and have over 150 cars between Los Angeles and Missouri.
I will assist in having the car transported to any part of the USA/world at buyer's expense and arrangements. I will not engage in any form of discussions or instructions with Buyer's shippers or their agents etc.
This car is being negotiated with a Kuwaiti buyer and if Kuwaiti deal goes through I will pull the car off of eBay auction.
I will not entertain any inquiries of my other cars that I plan to sell soon. I am negotiating with different parties and won't know which car will be available to sell through eBay. I am negotiating to sell 6 cars to one party and 4 to another. so its hard to know which cars will be left to sell.
I've put in a very low and affordable reserve to sell it fast. Check out in real life how much it cost to do the ground-up restoration!
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the buyer / bidder to make certain that the car is inspected and evaluated at Buyer/bidder's expense. I have stated the true facts above and will not exaggerate or lie about the facts as I am not selling the car due to any financial reasons whatsoever. But these cars MUST go due to short of parking space in the new home of smaller size (3500 Sq) from 86. 00 sq/ 5 acres to half an acre!
PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING! WILL RESPOND WITHIN HOURS UPON RECEIPT OF QUESTIONS. If you are bidding from outside of Los Angeles/Westlake Village area of a different state or a coutry. please let me know and I will be more than happy to provide you the names of local Ford dealers and indy shops for inspection of the car at your expense! I have bought dozens of cars over the years through eBay across USA and Canada and have done the same. After finding out a local mechanic/shop had them inspect the car before I made the bids. Mostly it costs between $125 and $175 depending on each mechanic/expert's own fees.
Good Luck with bidding!
On Sep-28-16 at 13:59:28 PDT. seller added the following information:

Note: Some bidder asked for more details and pictures of the motor. The motor is a 3. 9 (3922cc) V8. 16 valves.
