This 1983 Ford Mustang convertible strikes a perfect balance between originality and the right upgrades. all at an unbeatable price. After all. the factory-correct red-on-white is a great combination. and everyone loves a numbers-matching 5. 0 V8 with under 60k original miles. But when that powerplant has been enhanced and so has the suspension. well then. this is your perfect open road companion.


This is a pivotal year for the Mustang. 1983 marked the return of the convertible. and at nearly double the price of the base coupe. these are a rare sight today. especially preserved this well. You can instantly tell that this drop top has been treated with care for over three decades. We believe most of the paint is original. which is quite interesting that the Bright Red paint still retains the kind of luster to live up to its name. On the other hand. a white convertible top was never supposed to last this long. so thankfully. it has been replaced with a new pristine unit. It does a great job of coordinating with the white pinstripe that starts at the headlights and runs all the way around the car. Speaking of seamless integration. the dark rub strip that hugs the entire body is a great distinguishing characteristic when it is as straight and complete as this one. But this isn't a pure factory machine. There have been investments in upgrades. and it gives the first hint with the newer Mustang five-spoke alloy wheels.


When it comes to convertibles. the interior is often as important as the exterior. After all. when you lower the power folding top. you get to share the inside with the world. That's where the white interior really makes an impact. It has a boldness that radiates from the red exterior to make it distinct while still coordinating. Much of the main pieces remain stock. including the center console. wood paneling. AM/FM stereo. as well as the original speedo and tach. But you can instantly spot the driver-oriented upgrades. The grippy sports steering wheel and Hurst short throw shifter means your hands get the real treats in this droptop.


You'll love lifting the hood at car shows because this 58k mile. 5. 0-liter V8 perfectly blends the car's original-but-upgraded attitude. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
