Land Rover Series 2 1958 in VIC for sale

Series 2 1958 Land Rover.

I'm having to relist this Land Rover again. as the highest bidder is saying he's bid was a "Mistake" I'm not really sure how that is possible.

So please only bid on the Land Rover if you really want it!


It comes with rust in all the normal places and a 186 Holden engine. I bought this Land Rover to do a restoration but now I'm selling my house and don't have anywhere to store it. So it must go! There is no reserve price. the highest bidder will get it.
This was a Army Land Rover when it was new. there are signs of the original paint showing.
Strangely it has a Series 1 roof. I don't know if this was original with the Land Rover. but this is a very early series 2. built in the first couple of months of release of the model.  

On 27-Sep-16 at 08:24:26 AEST. seller added the following information:

The Land Rover is not running. and I believe hasn't for a couple of years.

This will need to have a complete restoration from chassis up.
