This car was purchased by myself around 5 months ago with the intentions in bringing it back to its former glory. With time and money against me I have no choice but to sell this wonderful car.

It was previously owned by a friend of a friend who stays in the same village. It was in working / driving order prior to the car being parked up in his garage just under 2 years ago.

So as the car had sat for so long and was not starting the following parts were replaced by a local mobile mechanic.

Fuel Pump. Ignition Leads. Spark plugs. Distributor Cap and Rotor Arm.

Car started. Sounded great although it would not tick over on its own as after a few minutes it would cut out. He noticed the large black air pipe had perished so that new air pipe was fitted. Car was still cutting out. Next step was to try and get the Fuel / Air mixture set up properly. After spending some time playing around with that he ended up going back the way. The car would tick over for longer but would not Rev at all (Unless he sprayed brake cleaner through a pipe!)

If someone is mechanically knowledgable on these cars or willing to have a specialist look at it then im sure it will be back running and on the road in no time.

It is simply due to financial circumstances that I am having to sell the car or else i would be doing it myself.

The body work is showing some signs of age. There are areas here and there where the paintwork has started to bubble. Both corners of the rear bumper. The corner of the bonnet. Two sections of both rear arches have started to bubble and a small patch below the window trim om the passenger door.

The roof has a couple of tears on it and could do with a retrim.

Apart from that it still looks great and the body is solid.

Loads of receipts and all the old mots. Clock reads 115. 00 miles but it has had new clocks fitted and genuine mileage is around 140. 00. Unfortunately there is no service book present.

It needs a new set of carpets.  

The black leather seats are in great condition.

Parked in the garage and awaiting its new home.
