1967 Volvo 1800S Coupe        

This is a Volvo 1800 early model "S" which is more valuable and desirable by collectors. It has a more classic standout dashboard instruments design. nbsp; classic steering and more rare B18 engine and a  SU carburetor ( no ignition ). Certainly this model when fully restored will be more valuable than the later models which have a more modern interior design.

This car was owned by previous owner and enjoyed by the same family since it was bought new in 1967. The last time the car was complete restored 25 years ago and it has been garaged and placed on top of concrete blocks for 20 years. Not in running condition. Sold as is.

The car is in original condition. the exterior paint is 25 years old. The paint looks okay but has some bubbling and needs some small repair in the lower sections.  The doors close nice and tightly.   The gaskets in the windows and doors still look fine. The electrical systems is working. I put a battery and turned the ignition key and the light came on and I saw that wipers work. signal lights work. beam works. air vent works. original Volvo radio works.        The car is complete with all parts.   The car comes with 1 ignition key and 1 fuel cap key.

The interior is complete and  in original good condition .   The dashboard is original with all knobs and gauges complete. has a little cut on the dash leather under the radio.  But there is no crack on top of the dash which is unusual and it looks nice and smooth.  The seats are in original good condition and has original Volvo seat covers. The back trunk is dry and in good condition. Inside there is the original spare tire.

The engine compartment looks in very good original condition with all original components.   The VIN starts with 1834.   The engine is completely original  with a block B18 and has its 2 original SU carburetor.  It has 4 gear box.   I tried to see if the engine moves by putting a key on the  pulley and I found that the engine moves so it is not seized. I didn't put too much pressure  so not to cause any damage. I have not made any attempts to start the engine or to restore this project car due to not enough time and space. The car can be pushed and turns left and right for purpose of loading and moving. The car is in the exact condition that I bought from the previous owner.

Just remember that this is a 50 year old project car in original condition so please keep that in mind in your expectations.

If your preference is classic project cars in original condition. this is the car for you. As you know classic cars are hard to find in original and complete condition.

The car is located in Toronto Ontario Canada and is sold in the condition as is and where is and there is no warranty. The car has Canadian title (ownership) in my name.

I suggest for you to send someone to come and see the car or even yourself if able. I can pick you up at the airport and the car is located only 15 minutes from the Toronto international airport.   I have experience with shipping to UK and Europe so I can help the buyer with the whole process if you need it or you can arrange it yourself.   The cost is approximately 1400 pounds to UK and also around 1250 pounds to Europe ( Belgium or Netherlands ). But please do your own research as well. I can load the car directly from my garage into an enclosed 20 feet container ( no consolidation shipping. not with other cars).   There is a ship leaving for UK every week. As soon as payment is received. I can ship right away. It takes about 12-15 days for the ship to reach port in UK.  I will load and secure the car into the container and I can also get all the proper documents needed for export included in the shipping cost. If you decide to arrange your own shipping and need more time to pick up the car and you need me to keep it in storage for some time. please discuss with me first before committing to buy.
