GMC-Chevrolet Suburban 1998 RHD 5.7L Auto 4x4 8 seats Fully Loaded Low Reserve

GMC Suburban 5. 7 V8. 1998.

This 4 x 4 has only had one previous owner since it was imported from Canada and converted to RHD by Quigley conversions who also did a fabulous bare metal respray when new from Green to Black which still looks great…  This Suburban was sold to its previous owner by American Carriage company of Fulham London in 1998 and has been serviced and looked after by them every since. It has a full service history from American Carriage company who can verify all work/service and MOT's.    I acquired the vehicle in 31/12/09 and have now owned it for over 3 years. The only reason I am selling it because I have company vehicle and it really does not get any use. It has only done  92 miles since its MOT in March this year. So it is time to get a new home for this very reliable and great vehicle.

I have had Stainless Steel Magnaflow exhausts fitted 2 years ago. by an exhaust specialist in London and it really has got a great sound and there will be no issues with rusty exhaust replacements.

Last year I replaced the tires and fitted  265  x 75 x  16 on a set of Alloy American Racing Wheels that I imported from the the United States. And I also have the original GMC wheels which serve as good Winter spares.   The tires have lots of tread on both sets

The vehicle was MOT'd 3 months agoand was also given a full Service at the time. I also have the service history and previous copies of the MOT's.

The exterior is in excellent and rust free condition and the paintwork looks really good and shiny. The chrome still looks good but could do with a clean to bring up to new. same with the wheels.

The interior is Tan Leather and has no splits or tears just the usual wear for a vehicle of this age. The front has 2 seats with folding down arms. next row of seats fits 3 people and folds flat and the final row fits 3 people and can be taken out completely… so that leaves either a 6 foot long boot space with the 3rd row seat taken out or 4 foot boot space with all seats in. so really good for transporting large items or people!

The carpets are Fawn/beige and in really good condition.

It has been a really great reliable vehicle that does surprisingly well to the gallon. considering the 5. 7 litre engine. I get about 15 or more to the gallon in town and about 20 or more on a long run. Did look into the gas conversion option that would cost around £2000 and there is room for the tank in the boot or underneath the vehicle but as I only travel 20 miles per day it wasn't really worth doing…
