Note; This is a 1981 California TR8. The ebay robot refuses to accept it's Vin number. which is SATPZ4582BA405274. This number is correct and is one file with TWOA club as a 1981 Vin for this car.  Build plate reads April 1981.
Here is an all original California 1981 TR8. less than 400 were made for this last year for Triumph. In this color. Calvary Blue. only 18 were made and only 9 of those is known to survive. It has survived with completely original except for the tires and seat covers. It has been impossible to buy correct seat skins and tops of this type for about 15 years. I didn't want to purchase one of the existing top out there currently because they are not even close to the original tan tops. The wheels are the correct TR8 gray color and are unpainted from new. The mechanics are also all original and the engine has never been opened for any major repair. Yes. this car will need a lot of work to make it show worthy. yes it has door dings. yes it has minor rust around the wheel wells. and yes at 134. 00 miles the engine will need a rebuild at some point. but it is an extremely rare TR8. I have driven this car only around 4000 miles since I purchased it eight years ago. but 2500 miles of it was across country to Arizona. A lot of the fuel injection system has been replaced. but at current is running well. Trans and rear end are great as well. Please email any questions using the ebay system. This car is well known in the Wedge world. being one of the few of this color. Only private purchasers will be considered who will agree to join the Triumph wedge association. I will pay their membership for 2 years. Car flippers and other curb stoners need not bid. It is only for sale as I can't get everyone in the garage anymore.
