We are offering for sale our pristine 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster Replica with Only 2350 Miles!  This car was built by Vintage Speedsters out of California. the most reputable builder of Porsche Speedster Replicas.  They use a jig welded 2×4″ 11 gauge steel frame and retains the original VW pan. creating a very ridged structure.  This particular car was built in 2011. and sold to a collector in Oklahoma. After 3 years. he sold it to another collector in Minnesota who stored the car in a climate controlled garage.  These cars are so close to the original. and deliver the same driving exhilaration at a fraction of the cost. This car is nearly flawless. and has been pampered and well maintained.  Body fit and finish is fantastic. and the panels shut with the solid slam you would find in an original.

The burgandy interior perfectly compliments the gloss black exterior. and is picked up in the wheels which are painted to match.

The car has a 1600cc dual carb air-cooled engine performs as the original. and the car shifts smoothly through all four gears.  Brakes have been upgraded to disks upfront.

Gauges. lights and turn signals are working correctly. however the tach goes out intermittently.  The car has heat for those cool mornings.  

This Speedster has been fitted with a set of Pirelli P4 tires that are like new and provide great traction in all conditions.  Oil was recently changed and this Speedster is ready to be enjoyed immediately.

Terms of Sale Overview

Payment Methods
Cash (in person). certified check. bank transfers. or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Call us for more information.

Deposit
The successful high bidder must sign our Sales Order and submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed and cleared before delivery or pickup of the vehicle.

Additional Fees and Taxes
All transactions are subject to a $249 dealer prep fee which includes the costs of a final run through our top-flight mechanical shop and detailing.  PennDOT and notary fees for title. registration. and temp tags vary depending upon your particular circumstances.  All PA sales are subject to PA State inspection fee. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state. county. city taxes and fees. as well as title/registration fees in the State that the vehicle will ultimately be registered.

 

Shipping
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.   We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company - call us at 610-250-5600 for more information. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped. full and cleared payment must be received before the vehicle is released to the shipping company.

 

Buyer's Inspection
Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you. however please be advised that all used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail from normal usage.   Highline Imports welcomes and recommends any buyer's third party pre-purchase inspection(s).   If you plan to have a buyers inspection. please contact us to make arrangements PRIOR to the end of the auction.   You are not bidding on an "option" to purchase the Vehicle. but by bidding you are agreeing to purchase the Vehicle AS IT IS.   Buyer is responsible for any third party inspection charges and fees.  In the event of a discrepancy between the text description(s) and photographs. photographs rule. what you see is what you get.  Actual vehicle mileage may vary due to test drives. or other nominal vehicle usage.  All vehicles are sold with a spare wheel and tire that fit the vehicle. however may not be the original spare that was sold with the vehicle when new.

Bid Retractions
Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end.   Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.

 

Negative Feedback Bidders
While we allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. we reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers. nbsp;who in our opinion do not appear to be conducting themselves honestly on eBay.   New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.

 

Successful Bidder
The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes and he/she must contact Highline Imports within 24 hours to remit their deposit. sign a Sales Order. and proceed with payment and vehicle pickup/delivery arrangements.  Feedback will be exchanged upon delivery of the vehicle.

 

Non-Paying Bidder
If the signed Sales Order and deposit are not received within 24 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 days following the close of auction. we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
