Viper Red 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop had a complete frame off restoration.  Equipped with the following options: Powering Steering. Smoked/Tinted Glass. Air Conditioning. electric actuator braking system. Kenwood AM/FM and CD Stereo System and Remote Keyless Entry with Bear Claw Latches. Both front seats are power 12 way adjustable. The custom console contains the Ignition switch. nbsp;AC controls. nbsp;4 matching Haneline gauges - Oil. Temp. Amps and Fuel. which are matched to the speedometer and tachometer.

The underside is as nice as the exterior and has been smoothed and finished in body color.  

 

The engine is a fully rebuilt 1995 Dyno tuned LT1 with aluminum heads. LT4 rocker arms. LT4 Valve covers. LT4 oil pan. micro starter. Edelbrock throttle body. K&N air cleaner. high performance injectors.  a Billet specialties serpentine belt system. 40 amp chrome alternator. Sanden 508 A/C compressor and many other engine upgrades.  

 

The automatic transmission is a fully rebuilt 4L60E with heavy duty internal components installed at the time of the rebuild. Hughes finned transmission pan and is tied to the rear by an aluminum drive shaft.

 

The rear differential is a Ford 9" that was smoothed and painted body color that has a brand new Currie Posi-traction Unit with 350 gears.  

Baer four wheel disc brakes with adjustable proportioning valve drilled and slotted 13 inch front and 12 inch rear brake rotors.  

 

Front Koni coil over adjustable shocks. with 2 inch drop spindles.  

 

Rims are American Racing 8X18 front and 10X20 rear with Yokahama S-Drive tires 235/40/18 front and 275/35/20 rear.

 

The engine bay is finely detailed clean and neat throughout also and has a custom radiator cover. The aluminum cylinder heads were professional smoothed and polished by Street and Performance. Sanderson Ceramic Coated headers. Sanderson head pipes with O2 sensors. nbsp;Dynomax Mufflers and a Headman crossover pipe. The engine block was smoothed and painted body color.

The two-tone interior was well thought out as to the design and materials.  The colors. fabric and carpet were chosen from a 2012 Mercedes Benz CLS63 and crafted using the same European stitching methods and style.

The Budnik Steering Wheel (15 1/2 inch Saturn SW51104P) sits on a Tilt IDidit Steering Column and connects to a Quick Ratio 600 Power Steering Box.  Haneline Gauges. Custom Dash Pod all gauges and indicators are illuminated with red accent lighting. Paul Atkins handles. inserts and trim were used as well.  

The same design and materials were used in the trunk area.

  

The chrome trim is all re-plated and all the stainless was polished and restored.  

 

All glass is tinted (actual tinted glass. no tint film used)

All new window gaskets and body seals from Soft Seal

 

The frame and rear end housing were smoothed and painted body color also the floorboards are body color. The frame has been channeled and boxed in the rear to allow the car to sit at a nice stance.

Spare tire well removed and filled

Smoothed firewall by installing “Rain Gear” electric wipers under dash

Car does have a few touched up chips on edge of right door and fender and on the left lower edge of the trunk lid.

This is my personal car. titled in my name. I've been the owner for 7 years.

 

Highly documented well planned long term tasteful build with far too many details to remember or list.  Drives extremely well with all the creature comforts of a gentleman's Street Rod.
