1961 Cadillac Eldorado

For 1961 the Cadillac was restyled and re-engineered. The new grille slanted back towards both the bumper and the hood lip. along the horizontal plan. and sat between dual headlamps. New forward slanting front pillars with non-wraparound windshield glass were seen. The Eldorado Biarritz featured front series designation scripts and lower body trims with a thin molding running from behind the front wheel opening to the rear of the car. Accessories include power brakes. power steering. automatic transmission. back up lights. windshield washer. dual speed wipers. plain fender skirts. outside rearview mirror. vanity mirror. power windows. 6-way power bench seat. power vent windows. whitewall tires. Cruise control. and remote control trunk lock. During our time with this car we have installed a new interior. Convertible top and top to bottom Carpet. We have repainted this car the gorgeous Fontana Rose. Installed new weatherstripping. A/c compressor. Alternator. Brakes. and complete front suspension rebuild. I do have to mention some rust on the underside of the a-pillars and front rocker area. Much of this has been the result of unseen rust damage when we repainted the car 10 years ago. The car does drive excellent and gets looks everywhere it goes. The car is very presentable and showable as is.

This car was driven by movie star Laura Dern and comes with her autograph on the owner's manual.

According to our records the correct mileage is 101144. The person who was writing the info on our website did not add the hundred thousand into the 604 that was on the car at the time of posting to the website. She has since been fired.
