Original pickups are pretty rare. and early  double windscreen models especially so! this has the original features: trafficators. push button start and very rare original early headlights. and the period  backward running Traction engine  electrics are original 6 voltAs you can see from the pictures. like any well worked French van. it's had its knocks and bumps. well it's 58 years old !This is a great little van. for anyone wishing to be differentWould make a great promotional vehicle. or just immense fun at any classic meetingThe speedo reads 06555 KM. but more credibly we think it's been round the clock to 106555 KMAs you can see from the pictures. like any well worked French van. it's had its knocks and bumps. well it's 58 years old after all !! The rather attractive blue paintwork is in need of TLC . there are rusty patches. but nothing too bad. the back short doors are missing but Michel has a set of good ones available!The engine runs nicely. the clutch and gearbox are good the electrics work( just a rear light to replace)The 6 volt battery is fineThe brakes don't work and will need a complete overhaul. but the hand brake works fineThe cab is pretty good with nice seats. which only need a few of the elastic "springs" replaced elastics They are like 2CV seats. and the elastic springs are easily available and easily changed!I'm selling this for my French friend Michel who is downsizing his collection. and unusually is parting with one of his rarer vehicles!  I'm doing the ad as I speak both French and English and can do a bit of facilitating!The vehicle can be seen in the Somme area of France near Poix en Picardie . but could be delivered to the outskirts of Dover . or first  motorway services after the tunnel free of chargeThe van would have to be collected on a trailer but would happily drive on or off the trailer

VERSION FRANCAISE:  C'est un Citroen Type H pickup de 1955  Double pare brise. donc tres rare!Les  vrais pickups sont rares et ceux de cette epoque avec  double pare brises encore plus rares!  ce vehicule a toujours ses clignotants semaphores. des phares premier modele extremement rares. et le demarage au bouton plutot qu a la cle! il a un moteur Traction qui tourne a l envers  il est en 6 volt d 'origine Comme vous pouvez voir en regardant les photos. comme la plupart des vehicules de son age. il a vecu . apres tout il a 58 ans C est un petit pickup tres sympa pour quelqu'un qui desire quelque chose d'un peu different! Il ferait un superbe vehicule promotionel ou simplement tres sympa pour toute sortie de vehicule anciensLe compteur dit  06555 KM. mais plus probablement; il a fait le tour et c'est plutot  106555 KMLe joli bleu d'origine a besoin d'etre rafraichi ( ou non si vous le preferez dans son jus!) il y a de la rouille ici et la mais rien de trop grave. les portes arrieres manquent mais Michel a un jeu de portes d'epoque en bon etatle moteur tourne gentiment. l'embrayage marche bien les vitesses aussi . es phares. clignotants etc marchent. juste un feu arriere a remplacer la batterie 6 volt est bonneles  freins ne marchent pas . mais le frein a main marche bienL"interieur est tres correct avec de bons sieges qui n'ont besoin que de quelques elastiques type 2Cv facile a trouver et a changerJe vends ce camion pour notre ami Michel. car il est en train de vendre quelques vehicules de sa collection. celui ci un des plus rares! sur ebay anglais parce je parle Anglais et Francais ce qui facilite un peu les choses!Si le vehicule est achete en Angleterre il peut etre livre aux alentours de Douvres. a la premiere station service apres le tunnel sur l autoroute Il devra etre transporte sur un plateau mais peut monter et descendre d un plateu sans problemes J ai fait de mon mieux pour decrire le vehicule. c'est un camion qui a 58 ans. j'ai peut etre oublie du positif ou du negatif. mais vous pouvez allez le voir. dans La Somme pres de Poix en Picardie
