Mk1 Morris Mini Project Restored To A Very High Standard 1960 S Brakes

Hi there

            Reluctantly I have decided to sell my pride and joy to fund a new business. Its a 1960 morris mini minor and I bought it as a restoration project. the car has been fully stripped down to a bare shell and all the paint stripped back to produce a bare shell to start with. Any rust was cut out and a piece let in for a invisible repair. areas that were badly corroded had a full panel put in. these included a full heritage boot floor. heritage wings. heritage a panels. a mini machine cooper s spec front panel. heritage valance and heritage lower back panel repair. All work has been carried out to the highest standard and alot of attention has been on door. bonnet and bootlid gaps. Being a 1960 there are alot of differences such as no drip rails. small gutter holes. single piece sills. no window indents. very early door type with drainage hold just below the window etc etc. The car was originaly painted in old english white however I chose to go for the stunning farina grey. the paintwork on the car is very nice. there are a few tiny marks and a very tiny aresaabout the size of a pennywhere some slight blistering has occured but you dont notice it. the roof appears to have some slight marks but this will polish out. The paint shows just how straight and original the car is. Once I had a painted shell the attention turned to the mechanicals. the subframes were powder coat and all suspension parts were painted in a satin black finnish. lots of uprated new parts were  fitted including high low's. adjustable arms. adjustable camber brackets and adjustable tie bars. The car has a cooper s brake setup with brand new calipers. discs. pads. drive flanges. rear shoes. springs etc etc. I have bought lots of new parts for the car like door seals. window seals. electronic ignition subframe fitting kits. wiring loom. raided hoses. nbsp;bearings. moustache and ends etc etc. The wheels have been painted old english white and have brand new tyres and tubes. I have most of the parts to finish the car like chrome window catches. early master cylinders. speedo etc etc. The car will require an interior as I did not get one with it. The car retains its original engine and gearbox which is in good condition but will require a rebuild. my plan was to put a 1275 in it.
