Shelby Gt-350R - Tribute/racer

Ford Shelby Gt-350R Tribute.

Original K-code car. (vin#5R09K153803). Car can be vintage raced or driven on the street. Originally an Arizona car with no rust. then in California for last 10 years and always garaged. Very straight body and super clean vehicle.

2 Motors Included:

1. Original K-code 289 HiPo motor. Great sounding solid lifter cam with roller rockers. Forged piston and Canton road race oil pan. Tri Y headers. Lakewood Scattershield and light steel flywheel. Low hours with no leak-down issues & strong cranking pressure. worth 7k on its own.

2. Current motor in car is 351w. stroked to 408cubic inches built with by Keith Craft. paid 10k for.   Flywheel dyno at 500 hp and rear wheel dyno turned to 405hp and 415 ft/torque. by RPM dyno facility. dyno sheets(June/2012).   AFR 205cc alum heads. Eagle crankshaft. forged pistons. with 6. 125”H-beam rods. Crane hydraulic roller cam. w/roller rockers with Canton 7 quart pan.   Edelbrock Victor intake manifold and Barry Grant carb. MSD ignition box & MSD dialed in/curved distributor.  JBA 1-7/8 silver ceramic coated headers. with Custom exhaust with X pipe and bolt on Flowmasters or straight exhaust.   Nice Fluidyne 2-pass oil cooler. with Dual remote mounted oil filters with AN fittings for all fuel and oil lines.  Powermaster light starter. with 100amp alternator. March pulleys and Ron Morris adjust. motor mounts for adjusting motor location/shock tower clearance.   Heavyduty large. alum. radiator.  Spal electric fans with dual relays and temp control switch for super cool running even in 100+ temperatures.   Runs on premium pump gas.

Drive-train:

Toploader 4 speed close ratio. Hurst shifter. QuickTime steel bellhousing.  McLeod light steel flywheel with Centerforce clutch assembly using all ARP bolts. Alum driveshaft and safety loop. Currie built 9" rear end with 31 spline axles. 3. 70 gears. True-Trak limited slip. Subframe connectors. underride traction bars.  Sway bars (1" front and ¾ “ rear).

Suspension: 

Total Control Upper & lower control arms. Shelby lower a-arm location. with Shelby quick steer idler kit.   Heavy duty spindles (magnufluxed).  620 pound front coils.  5 leaf rear springs with Alum. bushings. Torque boxes added to shock towers for stiffing(302-Boss type). Cobra automotive roller perches & shackle kit with their custom front crossmember for deep sump pan.  Koni adjustable shocks.   Front/rear cooling ducts kit.    Front and rear disc brakes with 11” rotors/(carbon Kevlar pads) w/parking brake.  4 point roll bar. w/rear seats removed for weight.  Everything legal for SCCA vintage racing.

Misc:

Professionally rolled wheel well lips for low stance and larger tire.  R/Race plexiglass rear window. Procar adjustable seats. 5 point Simpson harnesses. Nice looking Auto Meter mechanical gauges. Nice Shelby badging/emblems and Shelby vin plate#563. with cool Shelby dash look. Car lowered for great handling a carving turns. Very tight suspension and a blast to drive.

Trunk mounted battery. Safety cut off switch. Fuel Safe fuel cell/16 gallon.  2 sets oftiresand wheels. American Racing Torq D rims(15x8 rears w/backspacing for 245/60/15 tires with 15X7 in front).  1 set of 15X8 and 15X7 magnum 500 rims and tires.   Lecarra 14". steering wheel.   Additional painted R/race lower valance.   Have all car receipts since 1997.   $75. 00 invested.
