1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Cabriolet RHD for sale.

 

I'm reluctantly selling my Karmann Ghia Cabriolet from my collection which I've had the pleasure of owning for the last 5 years. This car is a great car to drive. and having been subject to a recent magazine garage feature. also a fantastic crowd pleaser. but due to arrival of baby in October. it has to go.

The colour combination of manila yellow exterior. black roof and black interior is correct for this car. A colour combination that works really well. It's been fitted with a new hood and headliner recently. all perfect. The seats are super comfortable with a cloth finish with vinyl sides and rear. and ivory switch gear.

The car drives very well with a detailed 1500 single port engine. I have a few other VW's in my collection and reckon this engine is the best by far. Happy and relaxed while easily sitting at motorway speeds. 6volt electrics upgraded to 12volt so you can see where you're driving at night.

This is a very solid Karmann and the car is garaged all year round. occasionally taken out at weekends. Although the car looks fantastic. there are the usual age related marks and a small bit of blistering. Nothing that cannot be repaired easily and does not detract from the overall appearance. I've also the UK plates if required.

 

No timewasters. if you wish to come and view the car please do not hesitate to contact me. The car is located 30mins from Dublin airport. 40mins Dublin port.
