This is a very rare opportunity to have a 1977 ex California totally rust free car.  repatriated in the the late 90's. converted to RHD and V8 (Rover SD1 3500 cc engine and gearbox and MGB V8 rear axle. Heritage certificate available for original car.
Car was built as a show demonstrator. just 8000 miles ago and features RPL front and rear body conversion (to remove rubber bumpers) complete with RPL interior (new dash seats interior trim and roll over bar)
Here's the special bits
Rover 3500 cc engine with Edelbrock (Weber) 4 barrel carburetor. on Offenhauser inlet manifold with gas flowed and unleaded heads through to MGR tubular exhaust with inner arch modifications to suit. exiting via MG owners club stainless steel Super sports exhaust system. It sounds wonderful!!Rotating parts are balanced  including flywheel. oupled to Kent "fast road" cams adding up to about 200 BHP. gearbox is 5 speed SD1. Cooling via MG V8 radiator and twin opposed electric air fansSuspension is modified to incorporate Moss coil over conversions with adjustable GAZ shock absorbers and beefed up anti roll bar. Rear has GAZ adjustable shock absorbers and trailing link anti tramp bars. Brakes are front enlarged and cross drilled discs with "green stuff" padsFuel tank is 25 litre bespoke fabrication mounted in board with wing mounted "monza type" filler. Wheels are BJW  "Minilite" type. Car has been totally re wired and has new copper brake pipes.
It is painted in BMW pearl white paint with black stripe front to rear.
This car is really fun ton drive either fast or slow. It is a bit Jekyll and Hyde with two different persona's depending on your right foot!!
