Up tonight. I have a 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud.  She looks to have been a lovingly cared for 3 owner car that has clocked 117. 58 miles over all those years. I know my friend takes really good care of it as it's always stored inside and sparingly used.  She is a really nice driver as is with a combination of recent service work. nice original interior with some patina.  Original Brightwork with great original Chrome on many of the cast parts and decent chrome on the bumpers. as well as a decent older paint job that has a little patina to it as well.    Inside the interior is very inviting.  I didn't see any real rips or tears.  Some wear to the seating and light checking to the leather which I would say is more than acceptable for a car of this vintage. The wood surfaces are overall very nice and retain what may very well be there original finish.  It is that of a fine glassy smooth polished finish.  Much like an old piece of hi quality furniture. About the worst flaw with the wood I saw were a couple of cracks in the windshield inner garnish moulding. I didn't notice any cracks or excessive wear on any of the other appointments  The rear drop down tables are in beautiful shape.  The carpet is respectable as are the door panels.  The headliner is in beautiful shape.  There has been a modern radio added to the dash in what I believe is the original location.  If it were Chrome it would look right at home but being modern it doesn't quite go.  That's about the worst thing I can say about this car.  The gauges all look great with no noticeable issues.    The trunk is very tidy including it's original tool kit.  Tire pump. Rare factory flash light. and other Rolls Royce associated equipment.  It even includes the owners and service manuals.    On the outside The Paint has a nice shine but is no longer concourse quality although it is still a nice smooth finish that looks great with a fresh coat of wax.  It is a rather old paint job though and as such has some chips and scratches.  There are a few small dings Maybe paintless dent repair could get them out.  The body looks pretty much rust free.  The rockers look great.  The undercarriage is original with a very old undercoating job.  The body mounts and frame look really good.  The only flaw I saw that I wanted to point out is a couple bubbles in the lead work around one of the parking lights.  I added a photo of it.  It's only on the one side and I was told is a common problem with this era Rolls. It looks great and as a driver has a nice finish with a little age.  At a local car show people would think it's great.  However if you wanted to compete in serious shows or concourse events you would want to repaint it.    As mentioned the chrome on the cast pot metal parts is in really nice shape and with a light polish could look spectacular.  The bumpers have some wear to them but look decent for a driver.  I did notice a small upward dent on the rear bumper.  I'm not sure if this could be removed without plating it but you may beable to get alot of it out carefully on a press.    Under the hood it looks original and completely functional.  Nothing looks cobbled together or messed with.  I was told the AC has been repaired and is in working order but could stand a charge to be Ice cold again.  This is the rarer full car AC with ducts in the rear roof Visible in the headliner photo.   Tom make this a reliable driver she has had necessary service work over the last 5 years Including brake rebuild by a Rolls Royce Dealer. Radial Wide White Wall tires. transmission service. Starter Rebuild by Doug Seibert. As well as a recent valve adjustment.      I'm listing this car for a friend and though I'm no Rolls expert. am quite knowledgeable about old cars. You can see what I sell in my other Auctions.  I'm a car guy and will honestly answer all questions I can.  What I can't. the owner is more than happy to discuss with serious bidders.   That being said. when I went to shoot the photos of this car we took it for a short ride and it seemed to run and shift well.  The car overall seemed very smooth.  What I would expect a Rolls from the 50's to feel like.  We Urge any serious bidder to come look at the car in person just incase I missed something of importance.  It's really worth the look if you are in the market for a 1950's Rolls.  I can't Imagine there are alot of them for sale at any one time.    She is being offered for Auction where Is As IS.  Shipping is the responsibility of the owner.  Short term secure indoor storage can be arranged if need be to help coordinate with your shipping company.    A non refundable 1000. 00 Deposit is required in person or by pay pal within 3 days of Auction end.  The balance to be paid within one week by bank transfer or in person.
