Here we have our beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang 289 V8 Convertible in stunning Poppy Red Having been restored in 2014 in the USA prior to shipping over to the UK. it is presented in exceptional condition both inside and out. A true icon of the 1960s and in this colour. engine and gearbox combination it is incredibly desirable. The car makes an astonishing noise and has lots of torque and power as expected from the lovely 4. 7l V8. It is very smooth and catches attention and thumbs up wherever it goes! As a part of the restoration it was treated to an all new interior which is stunning. the seats are comfortable and in perfect condition. all the dials work exactly as they should and the big wooden wheel just brings a smile to your face every time you get in. The paint work is in excellent order as can be seen from the pictures and the chrome work too is also very good. The electric roof is very smooth on opening and closing and the roof itself is a replacement (we assume as part of the restoration). it is in excellent condition with no sign of any rips. tears or splits anywhere. The engine bay has been well detailed. with the block presented exactly as it left the factory with the correct air filter etc. It has also been converted to have an Alternator rather than Dynamo. A true american classic that is appreciating in value very nicely. especially as an original V8 Manual in Poppy red (possibly the rarest combination?).
