For sale we have this nice example of a 1970 MGB Roadster. finished in Flame red with original black interior.

The Heritage certificate with car states that this particular example left the factory in late 1970 and was registered in March 1971 in Hertfordshire. Original options at the time were wire wheels. heater. tonneau cover. foldaway hood and overdrive and it nice to se that all of these options still remain! Finished in its original "flame red". with the original black trim and black hood. the interior now features a lovely Motolita steering wheel. replacement carpets and a modern CD Radio.  The original interior upholstery has stood up to the test of time very well and still looks excellent. plus it has to be said the original seats are very comfortable!

One the outside. the bodywork is in good order and presents very well. nbsp;all the chromework is in good condition and with the original option painted wire wheels. it looks period perfect. Also worth noting the original "foldaway" vinyl hood is all there and in good condition. plus there is a full tonneau and half tonneau. to tidy things up nicely when the hood is down.

Driving the car is a lovely experience. having driven the car quite a bit myself in the last two weeks. I can confirm that it drives very well. Aside from the period perfect raspy exhaust. nbsp;the engine is quiet and eager and the gearbox is smooth with fully functional overdrive. The brakes pull up well and and the ride is overall supple but tight with no unnerving rattles or bangs. Its also worth noting that the MG has been recently serviced by a marque specialist. plus there is also a good history file with the car showing it has always been maintained whatever the cost.

All in all this is nice period MG that turns heads everywhere. which is in good condition overall. but not so perfect you would be afraid to use it. One to get out there and enjoy. rather than leave in stuck the garage all the time!

The MGB is available to view night or day. seven days a week. in a dry well lit garage and viewing is strongly recommended!  Remember if you decide to bid or "buy it now" this is an auction and you bid to buy. not view! The lucky winning bidder will be required to pay a £100 deposit within 24hrs and collect the car with seven days of the auction ending. Cash on collection or bank transfer for the balance please. Also delivery can be arranged for £1 per mile one way. but if the car is to be delivered it must be paid for in full before leaving us.

Also I am always on the look out for good quality classic sports cars. so if you have a car you wish to sell. or have sold for you I'll be happy to consider it. Feel free to send any pictures to
