For sale here is my Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1. 3 from 1968 that I bought in Southern Italy in 2015 and enjoyed since. Unfortunately a loss of storage space means that I have to pass it on for someone else to enjoy.  

The odometer shows around 51. 57 km (32. 49 miles) and judging by the condition of the car I believe this to be accurate. I have driven the car extensively over the last year and it never missed a beat. Starts first time (once the carburettors are primed) every time.


History

The car documents show that Luigi Gianjorio bought the car on 19 September 1968 in Rome. To buy the car he took out a loan worth £557 which he paid off on the 30th of August 1970. The car was then sold by the first owners family to a dealer in January 2015 who then sold it to me in February 2015.

I brought the car back to the UK and used it on its Italian plates but have registered it in the UK as FMA405F in May this year.

The car comes with an advisory free MOT (expires May 2017). photocopies of the original Italian logbook and its counterpart as well as a folder of receipts.

The Fulvia also comes with the Italian Automobile club's (Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI)) certificate.  


Body

The car received a high quality repaint at some point in its life and the deep maroon really shines.

The car is as straight as an arrow and the panel fit is very good. Being a southern Italian car it is. aside from the exhaust pipe. a rust free car.

The bright work has a few scratches here and there but overall it is in good condition.


Mechanics

The engine is in excellent condition and pulls strongly. The steering and the gears are taught and the suspension is excellent. There are no oil leaks.

Since I bought the car I had the rear brakes refurbished. replaced brake hoses. flushed the brake fluid and coolant. installed a new water pump. changed spark plugs. oil and filters. I also fitted seatbelts.

The car comes with an MOT with no advisories and almost new tires.


Interior

The interior is in excellent condition. The seats are very comfortable and the wooden steering wheel feels great.

The instrument panel is in good condition; there are only minor cracks in the wooden dash.
