      Canyon State Classics brings to market a very special 1978 CLENET SERIES 1 ROADSTER! . The car was hand built in the late 70s in Santa Barbara. California on a Lincoln Continental chassis. This is your chance to own a spot on Clenet series 1. With all the look of a a million dollar car at a fraction of the cost. So don't miss your chance to own this beauty for a great price!

     Clenet only made 250 of these vehicle in the year 1978 SERIES 1. 2 of the cars were used for crash test cars so only 248 of these vehicles hit the road. This car screams luxury. with the glass etched hood ornament. crystal ashtray. etched flowered side windows. As well as the rolling fenders with wood slats on the fender that has been put on the car throughout. This vehicle is a real head turner!

-Full vinyl Soft Top and Real Leather Convertible Boot

      The exterior on the car is absolutely stunning. It is finished in the most desirable color for the Clenet. This color really announces that you have arrived. The paint is gorgeous and looks awesome. All glass and lenses are in great shape. The side glass has flowering etching which is a luxury in itself. This car has blue leather on the outside that looks amazing with the wood slats! The convertible top is like new and fits with no wind noise. The wire wheels are all perfect with no curb rash and really compliment the stylish lines of this car. The tires are in newer shape with low miles on them.

      The interior of this Clenet is totally GORGEOUS. The door panels are in awesome shape. The supple blue leather seats are still very soft and look as good as the day were made. The dash surfaces are in perfect shape as well as the carpet and console. The dash is in perfect shape with the wood panel around the gauges. The Pioneer cassette stereo powers two 4x6 Infinity speakers in the kick panels and puts out nice sound.

     Mechanically. this Roadster runs great. I can't describe how nice this car drives. It is extremely smooth and luxurious. but with the stomp of your foot you unleash all the power of the big V8. The highlight of this car is what lurks under the hood. The Lincoln 400ci V8 really moves this Clenet. The motor provides ample power to move the car around and has Ford reliability and is cheap to maintain. The car has been well cared for its entire life and was always looked after. All correct accessories are in place and the motor compartment has been completely detailed to show condition. The car also has been slightly souped up with Edelbrock intake and bigger 4 Barrel carb.

All in all. this is in my opinion is one of the nicest Clenet Series 1 still in existence. and have enjoyed looking at it in the showroom the past few months. but its time to find it a new home.

At Close of Auction

All Arizona Buyers must pay 7. 3% sales tax!

All successful winning bidders will be responsible for a non-negotiable $299 Document Processing Fee in addition to the winning bid amount.

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.

Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check. cash (In-Person) or certified funds. If funds are not received. and an alternate arrangement has not been made. the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come. first-serve basis.

The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizona . that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction (s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa County Superior Court of the state of Arizona .

Our Guarantee

We have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle and aim to only carry quality vehicles. However. we recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector. Prior to delivery. if such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle. we will correct the problem at no charge or work out a compromise.
