This is a late production (October 1974) 1974 & 1/2  TR6 originally from California and with the desirable overdrive transmission option.   All numbers are matching and/or correctly sequenced. None of the tags have been popped and re-riveted.   This is an original overdrive car.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               COMMISSION #          CF28556UO (ON DOOR SILL-SEE PICTURE)WINDSHIELD TAG #   CF28556UO

This is a rot free California car with only typical surface rust.  The floors. rockers and all typical danger areas are very good.  The frame is original and very good. You won't have to replace any sheet metal or do any welding on this project.   I can't find any bodywork or signs of accident damage.  I want you to be happy with the car so feel free to stop by or have someone else stop by to look it over before bidding. I have set the non-refundable deposit at only $100 - but if you come and see the car and for any reason you change your mind you can have all of your money back - I want you to be happy and I'm sure you will be as long as you understand exactly what is being offered here.   I don't want to steal money from you.

I am the fourth owner.   It has always been in California until I had it shipped to PA a few years ago and have stored it in my heated garage since. The first owner bought the car in California.  The second owner bought the car in 1998 and drove it home to Turlock in the Central California Valley. and started to repaint it in the original French blue. but never finished.   A yellow re-spray was attempted at some point. The third owner drove the car from Turlock to Milpitas. near San Jose with no problems. nbsp;and some disassembly was started. but then it was listed for sale and I bought it.
On arrival in Pennsylvania. with the help of a friend I started and ran the car a little but never drove it as the doors and windshield were off. then I continued disassembly.   When I removed the speedometer the odometer read 54. 46 and the clear PA title states 54. 00 original miles but I have no way of knowing the actual mileage of this 42 year old car.   The car is now in the advanced disassembly stage but all parts except those mentioned are present and accounted for. and I will help however I can with packaging & transportation.   This is not a car to be simply trailered home and soon driven - it is a major restoration project.   The doors. fenders. trunk and hood are off but are all in excellent condition.   The wiring appears original and serviceable.   The interior is non existent except for the seats which were rebuilt with new foams and rubbers and then custom covered in blue & white vinyl as my intention was to do the car in blue & white. A metal dash vent is damaged as shown in the picture but two good ones will be included.   One door window is missing (was broken) but a good replacement window is included.   The original windshield has some wiper scratches but a spare windshield glass without scratches is included.   The wooden dash was shot so it was tossed - I don't have a replacement wooden dash so you will have to provide one.    The soft top is there but will also need to be replaced.   I'm not sure if the wipers are there or not. and I'm not sure there is a door mirror in the parts boxes.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  This is a great starting point for a relatively easy restoration of a rare. solid original California car with overdrive.  You won't find a more solid place to start.   The chrome is decent driver quality. the rear bumper is very nice. the front has some fading in the chrome but there is no apparent pitting.   The front turn signals and license plinth are excellent.   The rear lights are very good.   No rust or rot repairs. patch panels. or frame modification noted and no non-original components are observed.  As far as I know the only things the car is missing is a good soft top. interior panels and carpeting. and wooden dash. all of which are available new.   Also. I'm not sure if the windshield wipers are here or not with the car.   One door window is broken but a good replacement window is included.
Includes what I believe are the two original sets of keys (ignition. door and trunk locks all work and lock). original owners manual. original jack & jack rod. a roll bar. nbsp; your choice of low-profile or standard tires (both sets in excellent condition). silver center caps. nice original matte wheel-trim rings and some parts receipts from a previous California owner.  Also includes good dash pad and dash crash pads. the dash vents. and all switches.  The battery is NOT included.  Other items like the rubber over-riders. under bumper front turn signals. and more are good and are included but are not shown; please ask before bidding if you have specific questions.

The oil pressure gauge is not shown with the other gauges because it is still installed and used when I start the car.  (Car has good oil pressure).   This is not a project for lightweights (like myself - I'm over my head - maybe if I didn't have so many other obligations I could pull it off but I'm currently overwhelmed with problems).   In addition to cosmetics. you should figure on doing all of the typical restoration tasks such as clutch and brake masters and slaves. shoes and pads. fluids. hoses. belts. etc.   I do have extra and spare parts to go with the car but I don't have time or energy to sort through them - we'll pick through them when you come to see the car up.  The engine can be started with a small fuel electric pump and fuel source to show you the engine runs good and with no smoke.  I tried adding a  photo bucket link to more pictures but the link wasn't accepted in the Ebay listing.   I can email any specific pictures you request.   I am not accepting lower offers.
