" RED RUM " is up for sale. 1969 jaguar 240 fitted with rebuilt 3. 8 engine. A lot off time and money has been spent on this car  over the last 6 years that I have owned it. New parts include clutch kit. stainless exhaust.  brake pipes. servo. polly bushes. screen rubbers. carpets. recored radiator. hoses. electronic ignition. fuel pipes. head lining. crows feet. front crossmember. chassis leg. rear skirt. jacking points.  front wheel arches. and rear wheel spats. The 3. 8 engine has had 6 new liners. new rings. main bearings. big ends. thrust bearings. timing chains and tensioners. cam shells. valves ground. core plugs. oil pump and carbs rebuilt. Engine has now done just over 200 miles. There are still some jobs to do. screen chromes to fit. front overriders need rechromed . overdrive is not selecting and I think it might need a wheel cylinder rubber fitting as the fluid needed topping up last week. Tool kit. jack and wheel brace are in the boot. Serious buyers are welcome to come and view the car and I will take you a test run. The original engine is present and was running well when removed it will go with the car in case the new owner wants to put it back to original. I have a lot of mk2 spares that I will give the new owner first choice of by separate negotiation. Anyone with less than 5 positive feed back must phone with land line number before bidding or bids will be removed.
