1966 Chevy II Nova SS.   NO RESERVE AUCTION!!

Check out this 1966 Nova SS. You are looking at a very good running. very good driving. very nice looking real SS 118 vin car. This car is an older restoration with recent improvements.   The car starts. idles and accelerates great with the rebuilt small block 350ci engine with new aluminum Cylinder Heads.  The 700r4 shifts smoothly and allow the 4:10 rear end gears to get up and go. yet still have a pleasurable highway experience. The 4wheel disc brakes stop the car with ease with no pulling or vibrations. It is a very good cruiser. and a real eye catcher. The paint is older. and is showing some signs of wear. but still shines bright. turns heads. and draws plenty of attention.   The body is laser straight and a few dings and chips are noticeable only to the owner. The body gaps are good with no fitment issues.

 Body

The paint is about 10 years old. and showing signs of age. but still shines bright and a definite 10 footer and head turner. Can't justify painting over this beautiful paint just yet.   Still a stunner.

Beautiful burgundy and silver with nice checkered flag accents. No paint stripes or transitions can be felt over the clear.   Accents run into jambs and is very detailed. Very nice paint job when it was done.

NO rust. One small pin hole in trunk. that's it throughout car

The body is very straight with minimal dings. dents. scratches. etc.   Above average for its age.

Many new trim pieces. taillight housings. headlight bezels. bumper filler trim not installed. but new in package.

All glass nice and rolls up and down. Showing signs of needing rollers soon.

All new seals throughout car.

Wheels and Tires

Brand New Coys C-5 18 inch  wheels complement the paint job perfectly

Front- 18x8 wheels wrapped in 225/35R18 BF Goodrich G-force T/A

Rear- 18x9. 5 wheels wrapped in 265/35R18 BF Goodrich G-force T/A

Very clean and recently gone through and painted engine compartment.

Small Block Chevy V8 350 Motor

Speed Pro pistons. block decked w/ 64cc heads 11. 1 to 1 compression ratio

Brand new Aluminum Heads- ProMaxx 2. 02/1. 60 valves. 185cc intake runners. 64cc chambers

Crane Cam Hydraulic Flat tappet. Nice sound. Not to radical

Holley 4777 double pumper

Edelbrock Endurashine aluminum intake

Brand new ball milled aluminum valve covers and breathers

All new billet pulley system

ball milled air cleaner and various other new accessories

Brand New Ceramic Coated Headers

New 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust with Nice sounding Mufflers

700R4 4 speed automatic  with TCI lock up kit installed (not hooked up to switch or 12v yet)

New Lokar Dipstick and New TV Cable

10 bolt rear end with new Richmond 4:10 gears and new Posi.   I believe its Eaton. can't verify.   C-clip eliminator conversion.

Brakes

4 wheel manual Disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Stops nicely

Brand new master cylinder

All new brake lines front to back hard and braided stainless steel to calipers. All installed with AN Fittings

Suspension

Suspension was new on original restoration.   Everything still looks good and tight with no issues. leaf springs on rear with inboard perches on rear to allow for wider tire

The bottom side of the car is as solid  and very clean. The floor pans are in great shape and rust free.

Interior

New black interior

No rips. holes. or worn spots in seats

Front and Rear seats are stock seats with new covers **I believe rear seat bottom is incorrect for car as it is a bit too narrow. however it is covered in matching upholstery and looks nice. **

Dash pad is new

New black carpet

Fisher door seal plates

New nova door panels and rear quarter door panels

New front arm rest bases and pads

New Sun visors and visor bases

* I do not have face plate for Stereo. Dash appears uncut and a wrapped board was made to accommodate aftermarket head unit.   Can easily be put back to original.

Overall. this car is very nice and will be a nice cruiser for someone. I don't know a ton about the original restoration and have been going through the car a little at a time. I encourage inspection of the car although I will be glad to answer any questions and send more pictures and video.
