Lots of cars are decribed as "probably the best available" and most are nt. his one. however . robably is and I would say in the world! Apart from being the very rare 428 Cobra Jet. his 1966 Ford Thunderbird is in stunning condition. The panels are arrow straight. he underside has never been welded and is in fabulous condition. he paintwork is of a very high standard with only a couple of very minor blemishes. Originally from Texas and then restored some time ago. his car has always been in a dry enviroment. ence the condition of the body. The mechanics are excellent and the car drives very well with a huge amount of power on tap from the 428 engine. Gear changes super smooth. rakes excellent. Hood mechanism performs just as it should. as do the power windows and moveable steering wheel (designed to get fat Americans in and out of the car!). The car needs to be seen to be appreciated and for this price is an absolute bargain.

They never put Cobra Jet in a Thunderbird !
It could be a std issue 428.
CJ came out in 68, mostly in Mustangs.
