1974 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series

A delightful and very nice example of Mercedes second year of production for their iconic 107 series convertible roadsters.
Owned by one owner for over 32 years with wonderful documentation and personal logs of its care. and maintenance. it is now being offered for your consideration and to pass on to another generation.   Its owner. now well into his senior years. discontinued driving it a few years ago. to which it has been carefully stored and cared for since this time.  
Many new components grace its platform. inclusive of new tune components. nbsp;i. e. ignition wires. plugs. rotor. cap. belts. new exhaust and a significant list of other items. Recent updated servicing include a complete detail. polish and wax. synthetic oil change w filter. safety inspection and coolant flush.  
Its body and Navy Blue two stage  paint finish are in excellent condition with no rust issues and illustrates a very nice original interior and dashboard.  All instruments function as originally designed. with the exception of the odometer. which discontinued working just shortly before the owner stopped driving it a few years back.  Mileage  and service documentation precisely kept by the owner illustrates the current mileage almost true to form. and minimal accrual for the last five years while he was operating it.  
Not shown. but in fabulous like new condition is the hardtop in Navy finish. with again. a tobacco matching headliner. A garage storage lift is included with the top to conveniently store it.  The canvas convertible top is in excellent condition and deploys easily and nicely when you want the top down.  
This is a fabulous. well documented example of a 450Sl Roadster Coupe which will provide the next owner with years of fun.  
The Mercedes 450SL Roadster will be sold as is. where is. ith no warranty expressed or implied.  It comes with a clear title . all the service receipts. owners maintenance log and  the complete set of owners manuals. tools and VIN plate.  Inspections are encouraged prior to sale. but will not be permitted as a condition of sale after the auction end.
