This is probably the nicest MG Midget you will ever find. It was completely restored by Jim Bowlby (prior owner) whom I purchased the vehicle from in September 2011. I am not a car guy - hence. after getting the vehicle in Southern California I have serviced it by Darrin Sher. owner of Darrin's MG Service. You are welcome to contact Darrin for any questions you may have about the condition and/or service done on this vehicle. Jim did a full ground up restoration bringing the vehicle back to (probably better than) it's former glory. The paint is magnificent as he had it painted in it's original color. And yes - the entire vehicle was stripped for the paint job - the right way. Since acquiring the vehicle I have personally spent >$5. 00 making it better. The transmission was recently rebuilt. new starter. clutch. and the list goes on and on. I have a 2" thick file on everything ever done to this car. Darrin always tells me it is the nicest/cleanest Midget he has ever seen in his 15+ years of running a MG repair/restoration shop. I love the car and have an emotional attachment to it. hope it gets sold to someone whom truly appreciates what they're getting.
