A fresh import from the USA is this 66 VW Splitscreen panel van.
It has been out of use for a few years and will need restoration.  A good basis for restoration as it has not been too heavily used and beaten about like some of the working models can get. It has a good chassis and overall the underside is pretty good for a project bus. There are areas needing welding work such as the sills. cab floor. edge of cargo floor. outriggers etc. Most of this can be seen by viewing the 98 pictures we have on file which can be accessed via the link below.  No motor fitted. A vw beetle or camper motor can be made to fit so obtaining a motor isnt difficult. Gearbox. steering. brakes etc are all present but as its a project you will need to work through those to bring back to roadworthy standard.  The last owner removed the bulkhead to allow easy access to the back. We have a bulkhead in stock at time of writing this and it would be around half a days work to fit it. We can supply the bulkhead with the bus for £350 extra or fitted in for £500 extra. All the seat runners are in place and are uncut. Nice original blue dashboard too.  Panel vans are not that easy to find any more and this project would come on quite quickly.  Delivery can be arranged at additional cost please ask for quote.
