1945 Tax and MOT ExemptWell. where do I start. this car is absolutely solid from the ground up. There is not rot or rust anywhere and is completely original apart from the after market indicators and wiper switch.  
I drove it to Vintage by the Sea on Morecambe promenade last weekend and drew quite a crowd of people. Everyone wanted to have a picture taken inside.
The Standard is in Un-restored condition. and looks very well indeed for 70 years old. But of course not a concourse show stopper! but still very attractive and Original.  
Mechanically. She starts. Stops and Drives very well indeed. I've not had chance to drive very far yet as I'm just too busy! But the 1609cc engine seems to glide effortlessly smooth through all the gears with plenty of power and surprisingly quiet!
I have a genuine reason for sale. I bought this for our new home to use on Sundays. but I failed to notice how short our garage is! I can't bare to leave such a beautiful car outside in the elements anymore so I'd like to see it go to someone who can look after and spend some time on her.
So all in all a splendid little vintage car with plenty of character and charm. However it does have some patina and slight flaws that need addressing. The Gauges don't seem to always work very well and the stitching and padding need a look at on the drivers seat. Non of this put me off as its still a cracking drive.
