1972 Lotus Europa TC Big Valve was originally purchased in England by US citizen who drove it there for about 6 months. The car then came to South Dakota where it was put in storage for approximately 20 yrs. The second owner bought the car in 2001 and began restoration. The third owner purchased the car in 2005 and completed the body off restoration. The fourth owner has made upgrades to the interior. such as Burled walnut dash and new center console.  He entered the car in numerous British car shows where it won numerous first and second places. The current owner has recently had the engine rebuilt.
The car has numerous upgrade throughout including adjustable ride height. brembo brakes ceramic custom header Lotus 47 type. newly upholstered seats and minilight wheels. During  the restoration the body was stripped to bare fiberglass and then re-gel coated and painted in its current colour of Orange Pearl
While the mileage of 34800 can not confirmed as original it does seem to be commensurate with the known history of the vehicle.
The following are included in the sale. workshop manuals. documentation related to the vehicle's known history. all invoices from current owner. the original refurbished wheels. original steering wheel and a set of weber carburetors in like new condition with a weber header manifold. Some minor machining would be required to fit the manifold to the engine. More information and photos of the carbs and header are available upon request.
