classic mini cooper

offering  for sale a rover mini cooper (1991 carburetor) 39800 milesbritish racing green with white roof. orrect " crayon" interior. br>manufactured 1991 it was exported to germany and returned to the uk and uk registered in 1993. the car has been recommissioned while trying to retain as original parts from the car as when it was built and as such is not a restoration. bodynew front wings. front panel. oor skins. and small amount of welding to the inner and outer sills. new front scuttle was welded into place some years ago but was done in such a way as to retain the original chassis number. ody and roof repainted. correct decals / badges & laurels re-applied. ew chrome window seals. ux fan re-wired. ew fuel sender unit . elays and hazard switch fitted. new radiator. heater matrix. hermostat and water hoses as required. ew wiper motor . iper arms washer pump and blades. new batteryengine /gearbox/clutchcompression's checked tappets reset . ew points. lugs. il and air filters. eads and coil fitted. lutch master cylinder re-sealed. ew clutch slave. ll under bonnet wiring checked and re-taped new . hs engine mount. ew exhaust and mounting hardwarebrakes. master cylinder and brackets removed. leaned. hecked & re- painted . master cylinder re-sealed front brake calipers. tripped cleaned . ainted and re-sealed. ew brake discs. ads and fitting kit. ew rear brake shoes. ylinders. ard lines and spring kit . led and filled dot 4suspensionall components . leaned. bushes checked & painted. dampers removed . hecked and repainted new tie rods. teering arm gaiters. uter cv gaiter. ack plates sandblasted and repaintedwheels/tyresthe original wheels refurbed. new tyres(yokohama). entre caps. xcellent spare. ocking wheel nuts. ew wheel nutsinteriornew felt /sound-deadening kit inc engine bay bulkhead. nterior cleaned and refitted. ockwood dials removed to reveal original cooper dials. have to confess that some of the kph numbers have been rubbed off during the removal of the lockwood dials. wners manual
in summery. a great genuine carb mini cooper that just brings a smile to your face every time it is driven. the dash still has some age related cracks. he ashtray rattles. he bumpers are a little dulled. ut the aim was always to retain as much originality  as could be possible . ven down to the chassis numbers etched into the original glass. t has i believe to be a genuine 39800 mile indicated. nd looking at the condition of the interior it can be believed. prior to purchase the cooper had been declared sorn  for some 8 years. owners manual in original wallet present
