1978 Pontiac Trans Am

For your immediate consideration is this beautiful 1978 Trans Am that has had the same owner since 1988 and a Full Frame Off restoration completed in 2010.   This Trans Am boasts Hurst T-Tops and a 455 CID mated to a M40 400 Turbo Hydramatic Transmission with Shift Kit.   Putting the power to the pavement is the Heavy Duty 10 Bolt Posi-Trac Rear with 3. 73:1 gears.   The completely rust-free exterior was restored using only GM Full 1/4s. New Outer Wheel Houses. New Outer Trunk Extensions. All new GM Fender Flares & Front Spoiler. GM Front Fenders and a Hardwood Fiberglass Hood.   The entire exterior was Stripped and Glasurit Epoxy Primer was applied. all the body work was then completed and then shot with Glasurit High Build Primer.   The body was then completely Block  Sanded and reprimed.   The exterior is finished in Blue Glasurit Base & Clear. one week after completion the vehicle was wet sanded and 2 more coats of Glasurit Clear were applied to give her a deep rich finish.   The gorgeous Exterior wraps around a custom black Interior with power seats donated from a 1990 300ZX and New Carpet throughout.   This Trans Am boasts a bountiful amount of custom options throughout including the Sony CD Player with new speakers and amplifier for some tunes & a Battery Relocation Kit to the rear passenger side of the trunk.   The 7. 5L 455 CID V8 Engine Puurrrrs like a Kitten and fires up at the turn of the key.   The 400 Turbo Trans shifts tight. sharp & like new.   She rides on period correct Polished Centerline Scorpion Wheels 15 X 8 Front with 235-60R-15. Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. with 15 X 10 & 295-50R-15 out Back.   If you have been searching for a special Trans Am that has just been driven out of a time capsule than this is the one for you.   This Bird is ready to fly. so catch it while you can.
