After looking for a Cyclone for a couple of years I found a fellow in California who had a rust free Caliente for sale. I quit looking and bought it. Not more than a couple of months later he called and had a Cyclone for sale. I bought it and did a complete restoration on it. I pushed the Caliente to the back of the shop for 3 years. I have started on it again and am selling it today. The previous owner rebuilt the transmission (have bill) and the 289 was rebuilt with a mild street cam. I did a cold compression test on it. all cylinders were between 145 and 152 pounds. I have put a new Holly Performance 4 barrel carb. . ew plugs. nbsp; points. and wires. It has no rust. nbsp;fresh paint. and redone interior. It has minor defects and I would call it a local show. driver type car. It wouldn't take a lot to make it a show car. Has some pitting on door handles and bumpers. not enough for me to replace. Windshield has a stone chip. could be repaired. would do it but our only glass shop closed. (I bought a new one for my Cyclone $159) Has a set of Cyclone hub caps as seen in pictures. Runs strong. shifts good. power steering. power antenna works. AM radio does not. Has jack and spare.
