1968 CAMARO RS CONVERTIBLE (GM DOCUMENTED TRUE RS)

Summer is finally here and it's time for a summer cruise. Just drop the top in this 1968 Camaro RS Convertible and you're ready to cruise. It has power brakes. a power top and a set of brand new BF Goodrich Silvertown dual redlines.

In my previous auction. I had many inquiries about whether or not the car is a true RS. I was able to get the General Motors documentation to prove that the car is a true RS and I have posted a picture of the document from GM. Also. please review the picture of the rear valence. it has the reverse lights which was only available on the RS model. The front end is missing the hideaway headlight grill option. This was removed by a previous owner but can be purchased and re-installed. The wiring for the hideaway headlights is still present.

The Camaro is in great daily driver condition. You can drive this car just as it is OR this car could be worth well over $40. 00 with a little bit of TLC. paint and body work.

The car comes with lots of extra brand new parts worth about $2. 00 including: a complete weather-strip kit. extra rally wheel center caps. door moulding kit. wheel well moulding kit. parking light kit. front end fastener kit. transmission cover. chrome header bow. chrome valve covers. extra "Camaro" and "Rally Sport" nameplates.

The car had new floor pans installed by the previous owner but they were placed over top of the original floor pans. The numbers matching 327 motor was freshened up and re-sealed about 15. 00 miles ago.

I took the time to carefully describe the car and include a substantial number of photos. However. it is very important to keep in mind that this car is pre-owned. not brand new. After careful reading of the entire description. rather than making a potentially incorrect assumption. if any statement or comment is unclear. or if you have any questions. please e-mail or call me prior to bidding. I reserve the right to sell this vehicle locally prior to the end of any advertisement or listing.

At Close of Auction 

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone me at (905) 933-8119 within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify the purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. $1. 00. 00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due within 24 Hours of auction end. Full payment must be received within 7 calendar days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by bank wire. cash or certified funds. If the funds are not received. and an alternate arrangement has not been made. the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come. first-serve basis.


I have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle. However. I recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector prior to the end of the auction.


I will assist with shipping arrangements however. the buyer pays all shipping costs. I do not have any affiliation with. or interest in. any transportation companies and all questions or concerns should be addressed directly with them.
