Up for sale is my project car. Selling for less than I paid.

This is an honest car for it's age and needs some further work to be road worthy (it's as old as me and in similar condition). It would suit someone looking for a project that will be a solid road car (not a show pony. there are a lot of non original parts). I bought this car from a bloke in Perth. starting working on it. and now for family reasons I have to part with it before I can finish.

I drove this home from the car carrier to Kilmore. Turned heads and the extractors have an awesome sound.

Also comes with various manuals. for the fuel injection. and full factory build manual. haynes workshop manual and electrical manual.

Good stuff:
ZZ2 350 cu inch crate motor (approx 450hp)
Tremec 5 speed gear box (matching diff ratio)
Fuel injection (80's camaro donor)
headlights upgraded for ADR compliance
Rear lights upgraded for ADR compliance (led reverse. indicator. brake. night lights)
Extractors
Braided brake lines to be fitted (replacements for OEM in box)
Air conditioning to be fitted (all parts removed for shipping and not yet fitted)
Fixed the broken speedo and odometer (only the tachometer was working)

Bad stuff:
Number 1 (LHS) and Number 3 (both sides) body mounts in the bird cage need replacement (I have the parts from zip corvette in the states)
Chassis repair required in front of left rear wheel
Needs seat belts for ADR compliance
Left rear brake caliper leaks fluid
Park brake needs full rebuild
Mirrors for ADR compliance
Radiator leak (appears the fan mount has rubbed on it and it leaks under pressure)
Crack on the corner of the bonnet (I closed the bonnet on a rag which was followed by instant regret)

There are lots of little jobs on the car but the above are the main issues to get it back on the road as a club or registered vehicle. The paint work is good from a few feet. the surface and body work look good. but the paint was sprayed in place (doors not removed. windows not removed. etc - so not what you would call a full paint job). Rims look great and the tyres are still fairly new with minimal wear.

Ultimately if I don't move the car on I will keep it and finish it. But right now some pressing family issues mean I have no time or money to complete it. The majority of the work is not expensive. and at the asking price this could be on road and registerable for much less than something already on road.
