1971 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
California original unmolested car that is in great condition. I am the third owner. the previous owner had the car for 34 years and was well maintained.
Exterior:The body was completely stripped and repainted in the original War Bonnet Yellow with a painted black racing stipe so no fading or peeling. All new weather stripping. The car has a Stinger hood similar to the 67 Corvette. I do have the original hood. The fiberglass was in excellent shape and condition. All new scripts and emblems. The ZL 1 emblems were added to resemble the GM racing prototype. Google Silversparks Resto Mods for painting process. Headlights work and vacuum is fine. Undercarriage is in great shape.
Interior: All New interior by Al Knock. Seats have new foam. covers and hardware. New door panels. New center console. shift cover with added armrest. not original. New gauge clear lens. New floor mats. AM/FM Cassette player. All electrical and gauges work. PS. PB. PW. Removable T-Tops and rear window. Wiper door and wipers work as they should.
Mechanical:350 cu. in. V-8 270 hp with 4 spd transmission. Original mileage engine that runs strong and sounds great. New head gaskets and complete valve job. All fluids. belts and hoses replaced. New clutch and pressure plate. Shifts smooth and tight. All connected to a Magnaflow X-Type performance exhaust system. New fuel tank. Do not have the A/C compressor. but do have new hoses. Pertronix electronic ignition installed.
The car is a little rocket and ready for cruise nights with curvy roads. A lot of car for the money and a blast to drive.
