I am selling my 1942 Dodge WC21 to make room for a new project. I completed a two year restoration on this truck in 2011 and have since driven to many parades. other events as well as many road tours over 80 miles in a day.  This is a reliable truck that I can jump in anytime and enjoy.  It has current California License and title. At the time of Motor pool restoration the following was done to the truck;  All body parts were sand blasted. primed and painted. Note: I did not remove all the dents when I restored it to leave some original character see photos. The engine is a takeout post war Dodge pickup truck engine and runs great. I power washed the engine. replaced the water distribution tube. oil pan gasket. timing chain gaskets. head gasket. freeze plugs and painted it while I had it out of the frame. NOS intake and exhaust manifolds. rebuilt carburetor. NOS distributor installed. Transmission was rebuilt using new bearings. races and seals. New vintage wiring of Maine harness. rebuilt starter. rebuilt generator. MV spares reproduction gauges. take out speedometer. New brake lines. brake cylinders. shoes and resurfaced drums. Fuel tank was chemically stripped and epoxy coated inside. new fuel lines. NOS fuel filter. new fuel pump. New water pump. new thermostat. new radiator hoses. the radiator was recored. Note: When the radiator was recored it was done with the fin style rather than the original diamond style core. New windshield glass installed. New wood bed kit and floor boards were installed. Five rims where sandblasted primed. painted new ND tires installed. New top bows and top canvas. It has front hub locks. Horn works. A seat slider was added to the drivers side seat so that it can be adjusted. A USB port was added in the glove box so that a smart phone can be charged. A passengers side mirror was added for better visibility when top is on. Things to improve on; I did not rebuild the steering box and it functions fine but does seep gear oil. The fuel gauge reads but not accurately. It only reads 1/2 tank when full so most likely the sending unit needs to be adjusted.   Terms; Please ask if you have any questions. there are no warranties on this truck. sold as is with no returns. The truck must be picked up within 30 days of end of auction. Shipping arrangements must be made by the winner of the auction.
