 Been in dry storage since 1982. a relatively easy restoration. nbsp;I fitted a new battery and  the engine is running superb with good oil pressure and very starts easily. nbsp;I have not driven the car as it has no clutch and no brakes. the clutch master cylinder needs to be replaced. I will be collecting a new cylinder and fitting in due course. nbsp;I have freed the brakes off and she rolls easily. in order to do this I had to fit new brake adjusters to the rear.

 Most importantly this is a very solid example. on arrival I noticed the underseal was peeling off the chassis. nbsp;I have removed 99 percent off it and I cant believe how well it is preserved. rock solid and only surface rust. in some places I revealed new metal. the underseal on all the floor is good and they are rust free. inside the boot is original and very good with no welding repairs. the bottom of the front and rear valance are good. the bottom of the doors good. inner wings have rust speckles here and there but they are solid. in fact even the exhaust looks good. the inner sills still have good un blocked drain holes again in very solid condition. the leading edge of the bonnet is good as is the underside lip on the boot lid. not the usual rusty items. Most of the brake pipes and fuel lines are well protected with underseal and when you scrape a bit off they are like new underneath. it will however require some small bits of pipe replaced where they have been exposed. Fitted with a factory hard top there is no soft top or frame ( both available here on e-bay cheaply ) The interior is in very good / original order. both front floor carpets need to be replaced. I have the original service book with 8 stamps to 29. 00 miles at the end of 1974. also some M. O. T. certificates all of which shows a strong indication that the mileage of 69. 32 is correct. all the electrics seem to work fine heater fan. wipers lights etc. this car is also fitted with the all important overdrive . Body wise again all very solid the odd spider of rust here and there and some evidence of the 90's re paint in areas. the rear of the front passenger wing protrudes out a bit but again this is easily fixed. This car could be improved and enjoyed in different ways. nbsp;use as-is ounce mot'd and enjoy. or strip over the winter for a quality repaint. powder coat the wheels. fit new carpets. detail under bonnet and you would have one very nice. genuine and correct home market 150 hp TR6 worth a considerable amount of money and of course a superb investment.
Please note that the rare factory hard top is in excellent condition with no rust and an excellent roof liner. would be comfortably worth in the region of £1. 00 so a nice bonus.
