This 1971 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super is a very cool representation of a nicely restored factory pickup that's also received a dose of aggression. But really. with the amazing paint. 350 V8. and ice cold A/C. you already know this is the truck for you.


Your first glance at this paint makes you think it's a very handsome modern pickup in a timeless color. but then you notice something a little more. It has had a recent professional respray that was in the same spirit as the original Olive Green. but now it has a deeper tone for more sophistication and added metallic flair. So now the deep luster really pops in the sunlight. The result is a pickup that grabs attention without losing its tough workman impression. Because it's a Cheyenne Super it comes with some nice extra body chrome. including the upper and lower side accents. In fact. it still wears its factory-correct 70s-cool wood strip within the brightwork. and this premium design touch continues on the bedrails and tailgate. too. The rally wheel package even has a custom spinner cap to hint at this Chevy's aggressive touch (a theme seen throughout this pickup. ) But just because it's a shining star. don't be afraid to load this one up with weekend projects. After all. the beauty of a vintage pickup is all the practical applications that come with this classic.


Inside the green and wood theme continues. This looks especially nice on the textured door panels that also match the highly detailed Cheyenne bench seat. It's this kind of pristine and highly original presentation that is a clear indication of a serious investment in the C10's restoration. The three-spoke steering wheel is an obvious nod to the Corvette. and that sporty feeling continues with the full gauge panel that includes a rare tach. People won't be able to resist a ride in your pickup. so to keep everyone happy are features like the AM/FM/cassette stereo and always welcomed air conditioning.


The engine is a 350 cubic-inch V8. as advertised on the front fenders. but there's something extra to this motor. It has a bit of flair in the engine bay with the chrome air cleaner and fined valve covers. and beneath that you'll see features like a four-barrel carburetor. Edelbrock performance intake. and headers. This gives your Chevy a pickup more muscle on the streets and a nice rumble out of the dual exhaust. It's mated to a sturdy TH400 three-speed automatic that sends the power to the 12-bolt rear end. The 1971 C10s are really sought-after because they include the trailing arm rear suspension. which helps makes these Chevys ride much smoother than most other vintage pickups. Add this to power steering. front disc brakes. and modern BF Goodrich T/A rubber at all four corners. and now you're decisions will be whether to spend Sunday at the car show or enjoying the roads in your easy cruising pickup.
