1961 CADILLAC AMBULANCE

 

This is a rare vehicle and has Eldorado Bucket Seats!

I have contemplated restoring the car. but have one too many projects as is.   The Ambulance is from New Mexico. It has Eldorado bucket seats. and I believe you know what they are worth.   I think it's so different from other cars and a great addition to any collection. We now have the fender skirts and after a NEW WINDSHIELD the thing will be complete. It runs and drves and had been the most expensive model you could get.   The cabinets are even solid wood not laminate. I have a few more parts in my salvage yard and can't really think of any more parts it needs. but I do have a real nice re-chromed front bumper that I can put on this vehicle. The front floor pan has some rust by the gas pedal area. and I have a nicer piece for you to weld in. This car is basically rust free. but not 100%.   

The only thing I can think of is for you to beware of the cost of shipping a car like this.   It is heavy and you will need a special transporter. Please call us before bidding or with any questions.   Happy Bidding!! But. please do not call to buy the bucket seats. And. please do not call me to ask if you can drive this cross country if you win the bid. I am selling it as a project car and don't suggest you buy it and try to drive it the same day.

If this car is not sold on eBay. I will go ahead and bring it up a few notches and put a new windshield in. The hardest part of this project was finding a transporter to get it here affordably and locating the correct commercial chassis fender skirts.
