Here we have my beautiful little ‘Irene'. a 1955 Sunbeam 90…. who I have failed.


I bought her a year ago with the aim of restoring her to her former beauty. but work commitments meant time was never there to focus on her. along with my absolute lack of skillset to get her running again.  


Structurally she is fantastic condition. the previous owner had done a lot of welding in the important places. however I did find a spot on under the rear seat which needs doing.


I replaced the water pump and a mini service. and although she turns over. I couldn't get her to fire up.


Interior. well it needs a lot of love. the seats are there. but they need cleaning up and repairing.   No carpet. and the door cards and headlining need replacing.


Exterior. needs a paint job. and the chrome work is good. but I had planned on getting this done if I hadn't given up.


The V5 is in my name. and she is both tax and MOT exempt. and for the past year has been kept in the garage.


She free wheels. but will need to be trailered away.


Any inspection is welcome. although I will be away for a few days. so any time on Monday onwards.  But I will answer any questions messaged to me (within the nest o my knowledge ability)


She will be a stunning car when completed. have seen good examples of the Sunbeam 90 go for over £7000.


I want her to go to a good home. and someone who wants to get her back on the road and keeping the Sunbeams going.


Cash on collection preferred. and if no contact has been made by the winning bidder within 24 hours. she will be put back onto e-bay.


Due to its restorational needs. this is sold as seen with no warranty implied.
