Here we have for sale a stunning looking Volkswagen Beetle 1200.
This truly is a beautiful looking car. absolutely stunning and a real timepiece.
We have just taken this in part exchange for a camper that we refurbished.
It is a 1958 Beetle. 1200 that was first registered in 1960.
The present keeper is only the third in 58 years!
Very rare to find a car of this age with so few owners.
This is not a pristine show winner but it is in super condition and you won't find much fault with it at all.
It was painted in 2014 and you can tell that an exceptional job was done. Odd tiny mark but still very special looking.
There are other similar aged Beetle out there but not many. And i guarantee that you won't find one as good for this money. Some are on here at double the price and more.
This is a very honest. very good looking car at the right money.
A real head turner
We have all four chrome hubcaps too. It needs new clips on the drivers side wheels. which we have and will be fitting shortly.
There are a few parts included in the sale. about £500's worth. These are all new cables. new door hinge pins and a new electronic fuel gauge.
All these parts will be fitted shortly too.
It drives lovely and starts first time.
It has a 12V starter and 12V battery but everything else is 6V. It doesnt have any seatbelts as it is exempt and it also has working semaphore indicators. It has all new tyres and disc brakes on the front. Underneath. the floor pan has never been welded apart from a patch where a new accelerator pedal was fitted. There is only one other weld patch on a sill. It is unbelievably straight and rot free underneath. It's not a patchwork quilt. it's in excellent order for the age. better than cars ten years old.
There are probably things I have missed off. but feel free to ask and i will do my best to answer any questions.
