1953 Ford F100 Pickup Truck

1953 Ford F100. runs and drives. and is rot free. Mounted to a Camaro front sub-frame (1980-1981) with a 350 Chevrolet motor (late model) and auto (column shift) transmission. it has rebuilt rotors/calipers. and new upper & lower ball joints. Chevrolet tilt steering installed. along with all new brake lines. new rear brake drums and wheel cylinders with disc brakes. Drive shaft has been rebuilt and balanced. Rear end has been installed above the rear spring versus underneath. The rear end is believed to be from a Chevelle large tube open. unsure of the gear ratio. Brake and accelerator pedals are from a 1986 Monte Carlo (swinging pedal & booster). Carburettor has been rebuilt with a brass float.  

Running boards were moved out 2" at the rear to match the wider rear fiberglass fenders. Areas of normal rust have been removed and replaced with new sheet metal including cab corners/rockers/cowls. some minor spots in the bottom of doors and hood but nothing to worry about. the frame is painted and underneath is very clean. Body panels inside and out have all been sand blasted and primered. ready to paint or leave as is!

Other new items installed on the F100 include: bed strips. wider fiber glass rear fenders. electric fuel pump. 3 core radiator (aluminium). Larry's electric wiring panel. sending unit for gas to tank. new gas tank under the cab. motor mounts (Camaro). hose for power steering pump. distributor. seats from a 2014 Ford Focus.  

All glass in front and back has new rubber. door glass is serviceable. could do with new channels and rubbers but do wind and close and are crack free.

Comes with additional slam panel parts (catches). inner wings. wiper motor plus complete arms and a box of various original parts. I also have some aftermarket gauges that will go with the truck.

Will need finishing to use but nothing too onerous. all the hard work is done. Truck runs. starts. stops. you can move it around but needs an exhaust (so loud!!). rear shocks. and some front side/rear lights plus wiring. Engine fan is missing (?) for some reason but you'd probably also want to put an electric one in too.

No time wasters. no low ballers. you know who you are!  No part exchanges. the truck is UK Customs cleared. all duties are paid. awaiting NOVA clearance and can then be UK registered. happy to assist new owner in doing this if required.   Happy to take a deposit on the understanding its non-refundable if you back out!
