The first picture is not the actual car.
1973 Jensen Interceptor III. low mileage. the car has ownership records which support the mileage. All engine bay wiring inspected and tested. Fan wiring upgraded with additional relays to support upgraded bosch fans. Radiator removed and pressure tested. The car runs well and does not overheat. The original 440 has been upgraded to the factory unleaded 452 heads. an Edelbrock carburetor. nbsp;and the original smog intake has been upgraded to the best flowing factory cast iron intake of the era. New fast wind mini starter. The engine still appears stock and is all Chrysler. so although upgraded it would only be detected by an aficionado.
The previous owner installed a manual valve body in the 727 transmission. We did not change it. as we sourced a 518 overdrive we planned on installing.
New leather drivers seat from England. otherwise the interior it is as delivered from the factory and in nice condition.
New black paint has been color sanded in preparation for buffing. The rear hatch and bonnet were removed along with the trim for the paint application. Since the car was wet sanded with fine paper. it does not shine like a mirror as in the pics. It has been sanded in preparation for buffing. which is not done.
This is a car we intended to keep forever. but things change and we have a chance at a rare car with factory race history. This car need the paint finished and final assembly. but it runs and drives. The car is priced to sell. our reserve is less than the NADA low. and a percentage of our investment to date.
The bonnet. the rear hatch. and all exterior trim was removed for paint and is packed. The trim is complete.
