Seller's notes: 48yr old with plenty of work and mods over its lifetime. Showroom it ISNT but usable good fun it IS. It has been resprayed a few years ago but has suffered a few scratches and marks, cleans up ok and turns a few heads still. Not for the shy retiring quiet or faint hearted types. 2.8 had a recent top end rebuild but still runs with lead substitute and unleaded. Was originally a 1600 super. Still using the original axle. This is Tina. Shes an ol girl and shes seen a few things in her time. She aint no super model (anymore tho thats how she started ). Tina has  had quite a bit of surgery over the years and before my time. Shes no ugly duckling but no show girl either. Built to be driven and enjoyed without fear of moths marking her looks or being left alone with strangers. Shes a fiesty beast with a temper if you dont respect her. like all women she needs to be loved. given attention and time to keep her happy. We've been together 5 years but sadly all good things come to an end and reluctantly we may have to part.  
Written below are some of the things we've been up to and some of the dreams she still has. should you feel you can give her what she needs
The good. /u>
Heart Transplant and internal organs - 2. 8 engine. Alanchi mountless cross member. top end rebuild (still using lead additive). New webber carb ( twinchoke 38dgav ). painted rocker covers. bug catcher air intake and filters. oil pressure gauge. electric fuel pump. wrapped manifolds. electric fan. 5 speed type 9 with quick shift fitted. cable conversion for clutch. original 1600 axle. jetex custom/universal parts built exhaust system. escort petrol tank
Legs n feet - Capri 2. 8 front struts. - 2inch 190lb springs. gtr260 brake conversion (granada/sierra calipers. 260mm solid discs and brackets) Alanchi full rack and pinion/ wishbone suspension setup all polybushed where needed. Escort Mk2 RS single leaf springs shaved to fit shackles and brackets (polybushed i think). Adjustable escort rear shocks. Full set of 7x13 revolites ( i bought them new the same time i bought her) fitted with new new 205 60 13s. Standard rear drum brakes
Dress and details - Ford RS blue metallic with silver vinyl fly away stripes( dodge style) and silver pin striping. Over layed with red pin striping and signage. age/image related stickers on rear 1/4s 1600e steering wheel. centre console and door cappings (door cappings are not fitted currently). Mr2 leather seats up front. 1/2 cage in rear thats been rubbed down (new when i bought the car) and laquered. 3 point harness for driver and new style belt for front passenger. gt gear knob. sony cd player with aux. 10in sub and amp. 6 point speakers and amp. blue neon interior lights. Halogen Angel/halo headlights
The Bad
Bodywork is a little scruffy as i dressed her myself. she came to me in primer underwear. Shes had plenty of work all over. some good some not so. think of her as frankensteins bride. Brakes work but ideally she needs a bigger master cylinder. no servo assist either! clutch is mighty also - good exercise for the legs. The front alloys arent fitted as the 205s are a touch too wide and catch so currently using puegout steels. Perfect offset (et15) but look ugly. Air scoop is a bit marmite. i loved it initally but not so sure now. Steering wheel nut has been welded on as i stripped the thread. but didnt check the steering wheel position so sits round. never bothered me but i have a replacement shaft and a new nut. poss needs voltage regulator for dash looking at - all gauges work. inc petrol. but all are sometimes can be erratic.
She is out of mot at the moment as i havent had time to get retested this month but i like to take her out at least once a week. she'll have a fresh test in the next few weeks!!
Important stuff - Cash on collection only. no export. no timewasters and certainly no test pilots. If you want a test drive you can ride passenger or you best have the cash to pay for it if you break it (inc insurance docs n drivers licence)
