1958 Bentley S1 Sports Saloon in Dark Blue over Shell Grey with original light blue leather interior with superb patina.  Chassis number B279FD. a matching numbers car with original engine & gearbox. Fitted with the rare and very desirable Power Assisted Steering and electric Sundym windows. In outstanding condition throughout with excellent bodywork. woodwork. paint & chromework. Underbody is also extremely good. sound & very tidy.  The only fault worth mentioning is a tear in both backrests of the driver's & front passenger's leather seats (original leather). Last owner 13 years.  Fitted with new whitewall tyres for improved road manners (original cross-ply tyres available if preferred though). Recently had a lubrication service and major overhaul with work to the PAS. exhaust system and braking system.  Invoices available for approx £ 4. 00Comes with an MOT to July 2013 (no advisories) & 12 months tax (free). Supplied with original handbook. spare wheel & jack & some history. 42800 miles believed genuine. This example drives well and would take you anywhere.  A trouble-free 100-mile journey was done recently.  Was also used on a television film set in Northern France just last month. A rare opportunity to acquire an outstanding example of this last of the line 6cyl-powered Bentleys of an era gone by.  These are indeed particularly easy to maintain & easy to live with.
