Classic 1984 Rover SD1 2600 Automatic Metropolitan Police Area Car

1984 Rover SD1 2600 Automatic Metropolitan Police Area Car for sale. this is owing to a lack of time to commit to the vehicle and feel it would be better served with an owner that can take care and show the car to its true potential.
I have owned the car since June 2015 when it was purchased from the Brightwell Classic Vehicle Collection.
A large amount of money has been spent on the vehicle mechanically which has included a service. below is the description of work carried out last:
Removed cylinder head and sent for repair. new valve stem seals fitted. carried out welding repair to head and surface. skim re-shimmed cylinder head and fitted cam housing. re-shim all valves.  Helicoiled 3 spark plug threads and exhaust manifold threads. fitted and repaired head to engine. fitted exhaust manifold. fitted new cam belt.
Car now runs on unleaded fuel and the only item I am aware that needs to be done is fit part or whole new exhaust as it blows. I am not mechanically minded so am unable to list any other issues.
The cars interior is again in good overall condition with no nasty smells or damage to the seats. however the headlining does sag so this will need to be addressed. the light and siren works along with the P/A system. whilst a main set radio is fitted there is no power to it.
The only other point to mention is the off side rear door lock is stuck and will not open so needs to be addressed.
The cars bodywork is in great condition with only a few marks and a slight dent to the front nearside. I have a new blue lamp for the roof to replace the faded ones and should the new owner wish to go for a total respray I have a set of MPS crests for the door.
Although the car is out of MoT by a few weeks. it passed last year with no advisories and has covered no mileage since. as I say time is simply not there to do anything worthwhile with the car and it is wasted in my ownership.
The car is being listed to see whether a serious new owner is available. I will not sell for peanuts and and by no way desperate to just cash in. if you wish to make an offer than please do so. however I will not answer calls or texts asking for my lowest possible price.
The car is located close to Stansted Airport and will be available for viewing. I work across all days of the week so please try to give over a days notice so viewing can be made.
