The interior is in good condition as well. The dash veneer could do with revarnishing. and there are additional switches (MB standard) wired to switch on the fog lights and the washer motor. as the original vacuum system was not operational. The drivers seat has some small tears.
The rear windscreen has a scratched surface
Some of the chrome trim elements should be updated. and one of the door mirrors is cracked. but the chrome is of an acceptable standard and replacement polished nickel bumpers have been fitted.
I changed the Zenith carbs which were shot for new Weber carbs. This has been done by an MB trained mechanic. I have the original linkages for the zenith carbs. but these were sent away to be reconditioned and were then lost !.
The engine runs well. - has good oil pressure and does not overheat. Tyres with the small white sidewall detail are new.
The car can be driven away. and there should be no need for any expenditure. The car does not get the use it deserves. I've set a low reserve as I'd like this to go to a good home.
