1976 Land Rover Other RHD 88

1976 Land Rover Series III 88 for use or restore. Original right hand drive Ran and drove up to February. when I had an minor electrical malfunction and drained battery.  Have not driven since. having decided to start restoration.  Realized I don't have the time to restore. so needs to move on to new home.  I've owned several Rovers over the years. and this one has served me well.  

The Bad:- Frame has some rust through.  See pictured.  The rear cross-member has a little in non-structural lower corner. rest of cross-member solid.  And small dime sized whole in right side front out rigger.  non structural.  Outrigger is solid and hole is unusually placed. and normal rust area good. -rear floor subframe is pretty bad and rear floor replaced by think marine plywood. And grill has small bit of rust-clutch slave cylinder has frozen up. (Do note. that at pick-up the drive shaft may have to be disconnected to move)-bulkhead has some rust. but useable.  Vents have been welded shut. Right inner wheel has some rust through. -Dash  board torn apart to fix electrical fault.  Have not had time to complete.
The Good:-Engine runs good. Newer high compression head. oil changed regularly.  No issues. -Gearbox solid.  Maintained and never slips out of gear.  Rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. -Fairey overdrive installed.  In very good condition and operates without issue-Comes with spare bulkhead in great shape. and spare rear door in very good shape. -Comes with assorted other parts. -Would make excellent candidate for restoration or with a little work useable truck.  This is a good truck. that I just don't have time for anymore. -hood spare tire mount and mountable spare tire included. -Brakes are good. clutch is good. drivetrain and joints greased and maintained and all good.
Please be advised this Land Rover does require work to use on the road and will require transport pick-up.  You will not be able to drive home.  And this is at my house. you won't be able to fix to drive home.  Please plan accordingly.  I can try to help with any shipping you may require.  Any other questions please ask.  I have tons of other pictures.  I'm happy to assist. have nothing to hide.  Just want the thing sold to good home.  There is no reserve on the price.
