You are viewing a 1974 MG Midget that has been family owned for many years.   It was restored in the mid 90's and has been been garaged stored and well preserve for it's entire life. It is a collectible example.   Considered by many to be the most desirable in it's purist form.   Very few miles were put on the MG over the years being used around town during the summer months.   It has not has been taken out for the last few years.

Mechanically the MG is in good condition.  The engine starts easily with no issues.   Has new battery and does not have any problems with the charging system.   New fuel pump.   Engine shows good oil pressure at idle.  Clutch and transmission works as they should.  Rear brakes have been completely rebuilt as well as the shock absorbers.  Does not have the typical British oil leaks when parked.

Body:  The body has been well preserved as shown in the pictures.   It had a paint job in the mid '90's - the color was not changed and was either blended or repainted with an almost exact match.   The panel fit is excellent including both doors which close nicely and do not have the typical chips around the door surround.  There are a few chips that have surfaced over that time period which are quite minor.    The floors are original and rust free with factory coating. Very solid  bumpers with chrome in good condition. All exterior body trim in nice condition and fit properly. Drivers side mirror was removed but is included and has broken glass.

Electric is all working. Interior lights and trunk light turn on when the door or trunk are open. Heat and fan work. Radio works. but one speaker seen to no longer function. The ignition switch has been replaced with aftermarket.

The Interior is in very nice condition as shown in the pictures.   It shows beautifully with near perfect seats. door panels and cockpit trim.   The carpet is brand new as well and has soundproofing material below it.  All gauges in good condition.   Lights and blinkers are all working as they should.  Windshield in good condition.   Windshield gasket at the body is in excellent condition and does not have the typical cracks found on early British Cars.

Convertible top in good condition and fits nicely. the vinyl has pulled away from the frame on the drivers side as can be seen in the photo.   All snaps and attachments in good condition and fitted.   Rear windows in very nice shape as shown in the pictures. Comes with a rare tonneau cover that is original and in great shape.
